I hope everyone enjoyed my interview with this year's Bead Star Erin Strother.  Did you like the photo of Erin vacuuming with her trophy and sash? 

I have to tell you, I am surrounded by fabulous women named "Erin".  My other extraordinary, inspiring friend is Erin Prais-Hintz.  She won 1st place in the Under $25 category.  Erin is an incredible designer so it was no surprise that she won the category.  What is really amazing is that the design was a collaboration between mother and her 3rd grade daughter.  Please visit Erin Prais-Hintz blog to read the heart touching story.  Leave a comment congratulating the "Tiny Dancer!"

    You blew it out of the water with all your winning pieces, D! I also loved Erin P.H.'s back story for her winning piece. I knew as soon as I saw that piece in the finals it would win. I call her "the other Erin"--she probably calls me the same thing. :-)

    Why does everyone think its so weird to vacuum wearing a sash??? Unfortunately, the photo of me showering in my sash was a bit too racy to publish.

Bead Soup and Baseball

My first Bead Soup Party Reveal!   I would like to thank  Lori Anderson for coordinating this fabulous event!  Bead Soup is a labor of love for Lori.  Please be sure to visit her blog. I am also overwhelmed by the tremendous response I have received regarding the "Best Bead Give-A-Way Ever" .   Everyday, I enter names and numbers on a spreadsheet.   Lori will pick the winning numbers on July 2nd - I wanted to make it as fair as possible!  Please click the side link or scroll down to enter my contest.
