Jewelry Affaire - Autumn 2010
Jewelry Affaire
Autumn 2010
The sophomore issue of "Jewelry Affaire" magazine is now at your local newsstands. Beth and her staff at Stampington & Co. definitely made this issue extraordinary. The magazine is perfect for all skill levels from beginner to advanced multi-media artists. I have 7 designs in this issue.
"Courageous Cara" is named after my fabulous cousin who survived breast cancer. The heart pendant and clasp are handmade by Zoa Art. I love their designs.
"Leann" is named after another fabulous cousin (all my cousins are fabulous). It features lemon faceted chalcedony, sari silk and Vintaj Natural Brass.
"Beth's Beauty" is named after Beth Livesay, Editor of Jewelry Affaire Magazine. She went crazy over this design when I visited the Stampington & Co. offices. So, I gifted the piece to her.
Once again "Shimmering Sara" is named after another fabulous cousin (Wow I have a lot of fabulous cousins!). She is actually my kindred spirit cousin. She creates unbelievable works of art in oil and pottery. Click here to see some of her work "Sara Pescke".
Another family connection "Eau Claire" is named after my Aunt Claire who is more like a sister to me than an aunt. She is a terrific writer and is frequently published. Click here to visit Claire Yezbak Fadden.
Finally, no relation here. "Classic Quartz" is just a simple design created with wire wrapped faceted quartz and Vintaj Natural Brass.
I just bought this issue and looked through it today...it IS fabulous! Congrats on all of the beautiful pieces you have in this isssue...they are stunning and the photography is incredible. You must be so proud - 7 pieces in one issue! :-)
