Bead Soup and Baseball
My first Bead Soup Party Reveal!
I would like to thank Lori Anderson for coordinating this fabulous event! Bead Soup is a labor of love for Lori. Please be sure to visit her blog.
I am also overwhelmed by the tremendous response I have received regarding the "Best Bead Give-A-Way Ever". Everyday, I enter names and numbers on a spreadsheet. Lori will pick the winning numbers on July 2nd - I wanted to make it as fair as possible! Please click the side link or scroll down to enter my contest.
My partner Amanda Davie sent me this incredible bead soup mix and the Sari silk.
My Three "Bead Soup" Necklaces
Please click on photos to enlarge.
I love Amanda's hand-made "Hope" clasp.
This design features Amanda's hand-made resin bird pendant and bronze wood clasp.
Amanda also created the centerpiece link, the tiny bottle with the feather and the copper "Journey" pendant.

I was really excited to see your outcome Denise and I've not been disappointed - wow! They are all gorgeous but I really love the top design. GREAT job!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rebecca - It is always hard when you put yourself out there - some people will the love the designs - some will not, but I am really happy with what I created. My favorite is also the "Red" necklace (I think that is why I posted it as number one).
ReplyDeleteOhh, Denise, love them all, but my new - and probably undying crush - is the third necklace. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous. You got some great soup, and I really enjoyed seeing your creativity. It's awesome to be able to get 3 pieces out of your soup! Congrats!

ReplyDeleteDenise! My favorite is the second one! But I love them all. Especially with the sari silk. I NEED sari silk now!
ReplyDeleteThey all caught and held my eye and my attention! I have to admit that the second piece of art really held me the longest. The others were equally vivid and intense--but the bird necklace reminded me the starlings' nest outside my bedroom window! Fabulous way to use all those luscious ingredients for more than one flavor of soup!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great stash to work with - I love all of the results!
ReplyDeleteYou got some really cool things in your soup. I think my favorite piece is the red one. I don't use or wear red much, but do love the color and this particular necklace is so rich and vibrant and I love how you used the turquoise beads with it. The other two are beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love all of them. I like the use of the fiber in the pieces.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME compositions! I've loved this Bead Soup for pushing me in new directions, and now I think I hear some Sari silk calling my name!!!

Quite a stash you got there. I absolutely, positively love that little bird in the first necklace and the red silk, I just want to touch it and cradle the little bird. So beautiful. All you bead color choices are great!! I just can't get over the bird. Do you know where that came from?
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I can almost feel them in my hands. So lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love your use of wire with those stick pearls in the second necklace and the wire wraps on the fiber, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteEach unique and fabulous! The vibrancy of that blue silk speaks to me so I think that has to be my favorite. Excellent soup and serving!

ReplyDeleteAs a first time visitor to your blog, I hope that you will take my next comment as it is meant (constructively). I personally find it difficult to read your blog; the background is just a little too prominent. Just my humble opinion - take it for what it's worth.
