October Pretty Palette Blog Hop
Halcraft, USA the supplier of Bead
Gallery® beads found at your local Michaels craft store is hosting the October “Pretty Palette” blog hop.
What is the “Pretty Palette” blog hop? It is a color challenge for jewelry
designers with an inspirational reveal on first Wednesday of every month on
Halcraft’s blog. Erin Prais-Hintz
picks the color palette. Then on
the last Wednesday of the month, designers everywhere post the designs that
they have created all using the same color palette. All jewelry design bloggers are invited to join in the hop. For more information about the hop please click here.
Our inspiration for the month of October comes from an Alabama oil painter named Erin Fitzhugh Gregory. Her still life paintings are vibrant and beautiful.
I found two strands of beads that fit perfectly with this challenge. The green tag bead mix had every color except the dark blue. I did not use the yellow beads for this design.
I hope you like my whimsical design named "Bubblegum Pop." For your free DIY instructions, please click on the necklace name.
Please join us for the next blog hop in November. Visit Halcraft on the first Wednesday of November for more information.

Fun fun fun! And that one strand of beads seems like it jumped off the wall into your basket, it's so perfect for this Pretty Palette!
ReplyDeleteThat is a ton of fun, right there! I am so glad that you were able to join in the fun for this month's Pretty Palette challenge. I think this design would work with so many beads in my stash! Thank you for playing in the Pretty Palettes October challenge. Check back on November 5th for the next inspiration! Enjoy the day! Erin
ReplyDeleteP.S. FYI, When I clicked on the link for the project, it opened a new tab but did not show the instructions.
What a fun way to use the beads! The dark blue smaller beads really add the right color and size contrast to the necklace.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great design! I love the contemporary yet fun statement that it makes.
