Stringing Fall 2010 Blog Carnival

Stringing Fall 2010
Blog Carnival

The new fall issue of Stringing Magazine has just hit the newsstands.  Danielle Fox and her crew have totally re-vamp the issue.  The photos are bigger with close-up shots and the photography layouts are stylish.  The issue is absolutely beautiful.

My cover necklace is called "Give A Hoot".  My inspiration for this piece was the owl centerpiece was handcrafted by Sandhra LeeShe creates fabulous pendants.  Be sure to visit her Etsy shop I am often inspired by the materials I am designing with at the time.  I do not sketch or pre plan my designs.  I like to call myself a free flow designer.

My bracelet is number 7.  It was created with Vintaj Natural Brass.  The turquoise colored stones are matte crackle agate and carnelian nuggets.

I would like to thank Michelle Mach for
hosting the "Blog Carnival"

You can win one of three great prizes:

1.  A copy of the fall issue of Stringing magazine.

  21. I love your bracelet--that looks like one of your signature pieces with all the Vintaj and gemstones. (I can usually spot a DYM original a mile away!) Feminine/elegant with a bit of drama.

  33. The designs are great. Like you, I am a freeform designer. I can't sketch to save my soul. The few times I tried to map out a design, it didn't turn out right.

  34. Both of your designs are gorgeous and knowing that you are a freeform designer is very inspiring. I have tried to journel ideas down as recommended but I feel so stymied that way. So it is great to know that others feel that way too.
