Bead Soup - Goodies for Amanda Davie
The first phase of the Bead Soup Blog Party has begun. I shipped out my package this morning to my partner Amanda Davie . If you have not seen Amanda's Etsy store & "What's On The Wall" you need to check it out. She is an amazing multi-media jewelry designer and artist. Attached are photos of what I gathered to send Amanda. I wanted to think out of the box, so a ready made pendant would not do. It seemed so uninspiring for this talented artisan. The "Soup" is a mix of vintage carnelian beads, yellow agate, amazonite, turquoise, aquamarine, citrine drops, carnelian drops, bone flowers, resin crackle beads, Czech glass hearts and one Raku bead. The focal is an antique lock and key with a silver "inspire"bird charm. The clasp was hand made by myself. It is a brass key bent into a hook and a riveted brass bird on a hammered ring.
