My first Bead Soup Party Reveal!

Stringing Summer 2010

Stringing Summer 2010

The new issue of "Stringing" for Summer 2010 has just hit the newsstands.  It is packed full of 40 necklaces, 32 earrings and 19 bracelets designs.

I have one design in this issue.  It is a whimsical piece called "Katie's Crush".   It features a centerpiece that is reminiscent of vintage tattoo art.  Etsy shop  "Wicked Minky" creates these fabulous centerpieces. Be sure to check out her shop.

Look at these fabulous  hand-made glass beads by Laurie Whitney.  Laurie's blog "The Mermaid Tail" had a Monday give-a-way contest and I won!  I love these links and can't wait to design a necklace around them. Just goes to show you, always leave a comment on a give-a-way.  You never know........

"Roman Holiday" is entered in the Glass Category.

This necklace is my favorite design.  It features ancient Roman glass beads.

This design features Vintaj Natural Brass jump rings and my hand made filigree clasp.

"Italia Regalia" is named after Jess Italia Lincoln of  Vintaj Brass Co.  

This design has a very vintage and romantic feel.

The clasp is hand made by myself using Vintaj  filigrees.

"Be Still" is entered in the Designs with Heart Category.

I found all the lampwork hearts at a local bead shop called Brea Bead Works.  

The brass blank hearts and my hand made filigree clasps are Vintaj Natural Brass.

"Brass Blossoms" is entered in the Metals category.

I call this design my "Avant-garde" piece.

I used Vintaj filigrees to make the clasp.

"Earthly Delights" is entered in the Plastics category.  

I love the clasp on this piece.  It features  Vintaj Natural Brass jump rings and twig charm.

The focal bird pendant is made out of polymer clay by artist Heather Wynn.
